Do It Yourself : Painted Oxford

Been feeling a little crafty today and decided to share with you amazing ideas i saw on the web, i've been Pinterest this D.I.Y moments and just can't help it but to blog too!

#01 : Do It Yourself Painted Oxford.

Items you will need :
1. Canvas Shoes 
2. Fabric Marker Pen
3. Fabric Paint or Acrylic Paint + Fabric Medium
4. Paint Brushes 
5. Wet Rag

Here We Go.
Get a white canvas shoes. You don't have to spent a fortune, your old school shoes will do just fine too.
Get your fabric marker pen and start off with the design. It be good if you done your oxford patter research!
Do make sure you make ample space and sizes for your designs.
Don't forget the back too!
Now now time to paint in the choice of your oxford. If your hands are not stable, don't worry used a smaller tip brush.
Paint the parts of the shoes that gives off an oxford look! Use the detail small brush to paint over the circles and lines. Get ready your wet rag for mistakes, a tedious part but thats the whole part of being crafty!


Leave it for couple of hours for a complete dry shoe before painting the entire tongue of the shoes!
Take your shoe and give them a quick run under a cold tap. The water will remove the blue marking that you drew. Let them dry off overnight!
Now its all dry up, relace them back and you have done it!
